Very true and I admit I'm one of them, Cotto just isn't showing any improvements and will still fade/break down against an aggressive fighter. This also depends how Margarito will be able to take his punches in a rematch, I wouldn't be surprised to see Margarito rocked and wobbly in the rematch. Two guys landing and hurting each other, should be entertaining till one kisses the canvas for good.
.............MY O MY. He fought with that huge cut affecting him for most of the fight. In a way this could be a good thing as many will underrate him for it.
I DO, the only thing that bothers me is that he's got a 34-1 rec. annnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnd that loss is very & I really mean veeeery questionable... so, to recap, if he fades after 6, then his opposition must have faded even earlier.... tough fights..
Cotto fought with a major hanicap. One eye..... So now apparently even Berto's sorry ass would beat Cotto according to some *****s on this board.
Cotto is superior to Margarito is every single boxing skill and it showed during the first 6 rounds with some adjustments Cotto will beat him and convincingly. Margo has only one way of fighting and he will never change that, Cotto on the other hand can do more than one thing in the ring.
:good Exactly imagine if Pac knocks cotto out????? "Little Tiny Pacman" cotto fans will still not accept margarito beat up cotto through size, aggression, toughness and determination:deal how embarrasing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The fact of the matter is that Cotto used the same gameplan for which he was criticized by his own fans on this board, of movement and boxing against Clottey, that he had done against Margarito...... I dont see anything that Cotto could do to change his fighting plan against Margarito......The nonstop punching and relentless pressure of Margarito would always send Cotto into retreat..... Cotto does'nt have the strenghth or the speed that Mosley used to beat Margarito. Nothing will change in a Cotto-Margarito rematch.
