He's not got time with the elections. He needs an opponent now. Even if he did wait, how long would it be before Mosley is ready again? Thats assuming Mosley even wins.

Mosley is only being considered now because he's the only 'name' welterweight, coming off a big win. There will be more options for Pacquiao/Mayweather soon.

I think well see Cotto/Mosley II in 2010, as well.

 

Paul wont fight Sergio the guy went from supposedly be the most feared man in boxing which was a laughable notion to begin with to a guy that balks when Martinez name gets mentioned.

The guy has a tough fight with Martinez and all of a sudden he wants to go back to 147,even Goosen is looking to cash his ass out talking about a big fight fight with Mosley cause he knows he cant afford to risk another fight with Martinez.

The fight with Mosley is in a few weeks?, Mosley IS fighting in a few weeks, waiting for him means at least 5-6 months to fight the winner of that one. After fights these guys rest for a month or two at least before negotiating a fight and Pac had March 13th planned ANYWAY so why not stay active then call out the winner of that one?. Of course depending how negotiations with Mosley go Pac isn't guaranteed that will happen if he waits, you never know what ridiculous claims come from negotiations and we just ran into one recently.

 

It must be a trend with guys who have football avatars and crazy posts. atsch Vargas couldn't give Mosley a beating....but Paul Williams is going to, huh? Well, maybe. I doubt it though. Really.

This forum is going crazy. Williams was fighting at 147 just a couple of years ago and since then he's beat Marg (supposedly feared), Winky (supposedly feared) and then challenged the man at 160 who has the power to knock his head off.

At the end of the day all you can do is beat the guys in front of you. People hate on Williams for the exact opposite reason they hate on Mayweather. Having close fights against dangerous opponents.

mosley never said 147 or nothing...he proposed going down to 142 to fight pac and was turnt down...get ya shitty facts together
