It's funny how some people here have built up Cotto like he's this unbeatable fighter

I just finished watching the Zab fight on DVR for like the 5th time and this guy here has absolutely no chance at beating Money May. His defense is ****,his chin is soft,he is not tall or long.

I hear people say that he's this great boxer with amateur experience like that means anything lol. I find amusing. He is not better boxer than Mayweather (Nobody is) so that is the only thing that actually matters. People bring up his body work but Mayweather can take punches with the best of them. Most importantly tho he negates your offense which is even better.

Money May would first break him down mentally and then physically with clean hard accurate punches (Money May is the best in the business in accuracy) to his face (cuts easily, and would give him some of his own medicine to the body like Shane did)

Mayweather has no weakness and Cotto and his people know this. It is the reason why they turned down the 1st fight down when Mayweather went after him.

Another big factor is that Mayweather will not be facing a bigger guy (Baldomir,Oscar) which only means Money May will engage on the inside or outside.

Mayweather would UD him easily, but i could see a KO with straight rights, or TKO on cuts from damage to his face..

I just do not see anything that Cotto can do (It's not Cotto's fault nobody out their stands a chance) to actually beat Mayweather.

Cotto has improved immensley since his bout with Judah. I too think Mayweather would beat him by a clear UD. But it would be as much of a outright boxing clinic as it would be had they fought in 2007. Cotto has gotten better, his defensive has improved, and unlike most pressure fighters Floyd faces, he knows when to apply it and when to ease up. Floyd would be in a very tough fight.

The thing about Cotto is he has continued to improve every fight. The Judah fight, while still a solid win for Cotto, exposed some of his weaknesses. But, he has worked to correct them. I still think his defense is porous at times and he eats way too many left hooks/uppercuts. Nitpicking, I know, but I could see a PBF check hook catching Cotto at an inopportune time and taking him off his feet.

No one is unbeatable, Cotto has his flaws but still no one was able to fully expose them and I don't think Margarito nor anyone else in the division will, unless Mayweather returns.

Watch out. You are very bias because you feel Mayweather would beat Cotto.

Cotto is the product of so much hype at this point that when he loses it's going to be devastating to the total infrastructure of every boxing forum on the internet. E-Armeggedon.

Cotto is not unbeatable but he's a great fighter that gives fans what they want to see. He fights his contenders and he keeps moving up. Sure, Mayweather is more "unbeatable" in the skills department, but what does that prove when he ducks his formidible opponents. Doesn't mean jack. I think the world of Mayweather's skills but I prefer a fighter who fights the best and puts everything on the line for his reputation.

Mayweather -- a guy I'm not a fan of, to say the least -- would beat Cotto any and every day of the week. No problem.

    LOL! So true.

I am a certified PBF hater, no doubt. But PBF would beat Cotto, without a doubt. I'm not saying it would be easy like a Baldi fight, but he would beat him. PBF is not scared in the least of Cotto, and he shouldn't be. I'm sure Floyd respects him but he knows he can beat him.
