It's funny how some people here have built up Cotto like he's this unbeatable fighter

Ha ha, I use that same excuse with Chavez vs.Taylor 1. At least we can agree to use that excuse when need be.

All Right People, I Guess I'll Be The First One To Do It... I Hate To Do This Even More When I Don't Even Know For Sure If Cotto's Going To Get Past Margarito, But Win Or Lose On Saturday Night, Cotto Wins Against Mayweather, And That Would Be Today, Next Week, Or Next Year , It Doesn't Matter, Mayweather Would Be Either Ko'd Or Clearly Ud'd.... And Yess, You Read That Right. Not Only Cotto But Mosley Would Too, And I Don't Know About Margo (maybe His Style It's Not The Appropriate). C'mon, Was I The Only One Who Saw A Close (besides Boring) Fight Against DLH?? Mosley Would Slap That A** In A Convincing Fashion, Unlike Dlh, Not To Mention Cotto...UBF Knew It , But By The Time He Ran Out Of Excuses He Chose To Retire, yet Some Of You Are Or Choose To Be Blind To This Fact!

Lol Miguel Super Cotto would batter Mayweather ringpost to ringpost, KO him, and have sex with Miss Puerto Rico while Floyd was still gathering his wits on the floor.

Cotto is second only to Minto himself. :thumbsup

Cotto is probable one of the most relaxed fighter out there never raise his voice always good manners well dressed strckly business but in the ring he is a beast a destructor knows how to break down his opponent with the right pressure very scary that is why fighters respect or ignore him.

you say mayweather has no weaknesses but cotto already knows his weakness which it'll be his body and nobody right now better than cotto on attacking the body. mayweather sits to much on the rope and it'll make alot easier for cotto to attack cause he ain't got the power to keep cotto off. and for breaking cotto down mentally he'll be to scared to even attempt any foolishness

How would Floyd "slaughter" Mosley when he couldnt even slaughter Shane's son Oscar?

Sadly, I think Cotto is a magnificent fighter. He is getting better with very fight. NO doubt in my mind.

I think his use of a solid jab would give mayweather trouble, along with the power of his jab.

This is where I draw the line though. While I see it as a possible greatest fight in the last couple of years... I don't see the lopsided UD or knockout.

It just doesn't happen for me.

I mean let's face it... both demolished an over the hill zab. Zab just lost to ****ing Baldomir... so not that big of a step for Mayweather. Zab also lost to Baldomir and Mayweather when Cotto fought him, not that great either. Both had their trouble with Zab (1-4 for Mayweather and 1-4 for Cotto).

Ricky Hatton and and "over the hill" Oscar De La Hoya were PBF next 2 opponents... not so great huh? He got a somewhat controversial decision against Oscar (If a large group of people disagree that a boxer lost... it's controversial so deal with it.. i'm calling it like it is.) and he destroyed Ricky Hatton.

Cotto's were an "over the hill" Shane mosley which he won by controversial decision, and Gomez... by annihilation. lol

They're just very comparative if you take a step back and realize the big picture. So.. considering they got similar results... I would see an EVEN contest, maybe wiht a slight edge to mayweather due to immense skillset. Not a slaughterfest for either fighter.
