It's funny how some people here have built up Cotto like he's this unbeatable fighter

i mean it's one thing to be giving your favorite fighter a blowjob.....but to still be tonguing it down when he's retired? c'mon now ease up.... cotto's the best welterweight in the world no matter what the hell you think about mayweather......he vacated his title and ran from the division......get with the times kid, i dont wanna see anymore "mayweather this, mayweather that threads" the guys gone, get a grip of reality.....and above all that, he's certainitly not invicible because he beat Oscar De La Hoya......the guys been shot for years, he fought a high B class fighter in de la hoya, and besides Cotto beat Mosely...who's beatin oscar not once but twice.....and although he was shot too... he was still easily an A class fighter at the least..... mayweather beat judah?... who cares, Cotto TKO'd Judah...... Mayweather beat a shot gatti?.... who cares Cotto destroyed alfonphso gomez who put gatti in retirement... the list goes on and on, Mayweathers already through with his career, and his resume is no better then Cotto's who his still trucking on, adding fighters to his long and impressive resume......Cotto's the new sherriff in town, and theres only one fighter right now that can change that, and thats Margarito not mayweather

Just went to the Grand and bought my ticket today actually. I think I wanna see just how beatable Cotto is. I think this fight, coupled with the Mosely fight, will present and show clear that truth. I betcha, if you asked Cotto, under polygraph or just plain honesty, He'd tell yu Mosely was his toughest fight ever. Mega praise 4 Sugar! Margz gonna take him the distance but won't pressure him accuracy and speed wise the way Money would. This is quite the statement comin' from someone who can't stand Maywether. However, Money should come out of retirement and fight Cotto and Sugar if he wants to retire UNDISPUTED. Then most us true boxing fans will welcome his retirement.

Yeah, and I love Sugar-and ironically bein' the DLH fan I am, didn't have near the fanfair for Shane then that I do now. Simple fact of the matter is, the boy deserves mad props. Shane has always been quite the gentlmen in this sport and has called maywether out as such. Floyd wantsta go out with greatness then fine: come out and fight Cotto n' Mosely then retire 41-0. You concur?

Respect for Shane? Yeah he gets some but i don't respect him as much as i did before based on the whole Balco BS.

He did not beat Oscar twice and he ain't better than him all time IMO. The 2nd fight Oscar won pretty convincingly, but more importantly Shane was on ROIDS yet he still lost. In time that fight will probably turn into a NC but it should be a De La Hoya W.

Shane never wanted Floyd and this is well documented.

:rofl Log off right now. Controversial? I dont know maybe to mexicans and Floyd haters but it was pretty clear that Floyd won clearly when he beat DLH, oh yeah in his 5th weight class! :smoke That fight was a solid 8-4.

Anyways, I think a 30 year old Floyd beating a 34 year old DLH is just as big if not bigger as a 27 year old Cotto beating a 36 year old Mosley.

Cotto is very beatable. He has slow hands and feet, got defense flaws, and suspect chin. He is carefully managed. AM is his first dangerous fight.

Wowwww!!! This sounds like a fighter who should have lost by now. Clearly you havent seen many of Cotto's fights if you think he has slow hands and feet. All of Cotto's opponents have said that his hands are much faster than they anticipated.

He has that deceptive speed. What makes it worse is his timing and accuracy.

You cant say someone who cuts the ring off better than most has slow feet.

Defensive flaws. he definitely has these but how many offensive power houses have you seen without defensive flaws? Mosley is an amazing fighter, but his defense is probably worse than Cotto's.

The chin argument is old. His chin is fine. It' s probably not as good as Marg's, but then again, how many people have chins that good.
