Mayweather has always adapted to the opponent or situation and fought accordingly.

He didn't suddenly throw less combos or become less aggressive because he became "Money". He's done so since he left 140.

He still had some drinkers at the lower weights (Cuello, Rios, Vargas, Castillo 2) and was fairly aggressive in the last couple of fights.

 

*******s think every floyd fight is ****. *****s think that every pac fight is ****. This time there both good fights. Im not a floyd fan and looking forward to may 5th.

 

It says a lot about Mayweathers skills when you consider no one gives Cotto a chance. Miguel is no patsy.

But it also says a lot about Floyds opponent choosing skills.

This would have been a much more interesting encounter when Cotto was at his best, and certainly before being chopped up by Paq. But Floyd likes to have his opponents mellowed, like aging wine . Floyd will fight guys like Mosely and Cotto, but only after they've been through the mill and aged a bit. Floyd wouldn't even fight Zab Judah until Zab lost to Baldimir.

He's doing the same thing with Paq.

It's smart, but when you consider that anyone would be unlikely to even beat Floyd at their best, as a fan you want to see good fights, not one sided exhibitions .

As usual , I personally won't spend any time or money to see this glorified sparring match. Apparently, Floyd doesn't need my 60 bucks, people even paid to see him in the extreamly homosexual encounter with that obese wrestler.

It's a shame, the heavyweight division is a joke, and the best fighter on the planet won't fight anyone with half a chance. Thank God for real fighters like Paq and rising stars like Broner . When Floyd gets thrown in jail for good, gets murdered, or thankfully retires , hopefully the NEXT best fighter in the world isn't a preening , egomaniacal thug with the mentality of a ****y high school cheerleader.
