Can't imagine I'll pay to see Margacheato in his first fight back when there's a free card going on at the same time that's just as good. Hell, I'd be interested in Rios vs. Antillon and Solis vs. Santiago, but including Margarito turns me off.

Anyone notice that boxrec has Zelenoff scheduled to fight that day too?

    Oh, this is PPV? :rofl

Seriously Bob, how hard is it to pick up the phone and say "Hi, Showtime? It's me, Bob. Let's make it work. :deal"

I might check this out, but am in no way shape or form paying for it. :yep

    War Garcia! :bbb

Hernandez and Margarito have different styles, so it's hard to tell Garcia's chances from this (for instance, it's doubtful he'd do so much waiting to get off with a busier come-forward type) - but he's younger, better technically, compact and probably as physically strong if not stronger, has the same reach, and is only an inch shorter than Tony.

His defense is pretty good (Freddy was able to poke holes in his guard with pinpoint punching, but Freddy is very good with angles and planar variety), and he seems to take a punch well. If he can match Tony's fury offensively he may be able to pick up where Shane left off and prove to be yet another "hand picked" opponent flipping the script with a knockout. That's a big "if", though.

The only reason to care is the astronomically small chance that EM will find new life at 147 and resume an ATG career. I seriously miss the MAB-EM days...

Wow! thats a good card the guy Margarito is fighting is a pretty decent fighter and hits hard. Im sure Margo will train hard he will have to too win this fight.
Im also looking forward to Antillon(from Maywood) and Rios, Antillon was a top contender before losing his unbeaten mark he is still a good fighter and a big test for the hot prospect Rios a win would elevate him from prospect to legit contender status. Im picking Solis to beat Santiago but these guys are both legit contenders.
Is Alonso Lopez the LH prospect from Texas?

Ok right:good Yey he looks good his style is like his dads hopefully one day he can develop into 1/2 the fighter his dad was. Alonso looks like a diamond in the ruff.

I was thinking about Alfonso Lopez.
