I think Joe's got enough PR issues of his own at the mo', than to go out publicly saying anything too outlandish - totally slating another British fighter.

He's in the process of trying to rebuild a good guy reputation, not destroy it.

I think he may even pay Froch a compliment, which would possibly annoy Froch even more, but perhaps hide in there a slight dig in there too, underneath the compliment... he he..

He may not even comment at all, I'm not sure he will.

I really don't think he's going to come out knocking Froch hugely. I think this is the end of that whole episode from both of them.

Well he was plastered all over the tabloid press just a few weeks ago.

Yeah i just figured it would blow over, it was blown way out of propotion by the tabloids, who hasnt tried cocaine before, i suppose the whole role model thing comes in to play here though.

 

Well as long as he doesnt use the same PR people Amir Khans been using lately, he should be fine.

 

Give it another day or two - it is a certainty. He fully deserves his gloat quote though - I wouldnt deny him.

I dont think it will be that outlandish but he'll try to act nice and sympathetic about it but they'll definitely be an underhand comment thrown in there.

Like mentioned previously I think the whole Froch/Calzaghe argument will be done and dusted now. Calzaghe has lost a little public appeal since he's retired, come out looking such an idiot on SCD and then having the 'Cocaine Shame' stories plastered accross the news.

And Froch has just been beaten by the man Calzaghe beat. Hopefully that will be the end of it.

Funnily enough both results could have been so different too. Kessler definitely had Calzaghe's number throughout the first half of their fight and if he'd have had any answer to Calzaghe's change of tactics in the latter rounds could quite easily have took the decision, and Froch by all accounts could have beaten Kessler if he'd have pushed on in the latter rounds.
