Or he lost out on a half billion dollar fight gig?

 

If they can put the deal together quickly enough to make the fight for December, that would be tremendous.

Saudi is always a drag, but the one upside is it's a neutral location, which is more fitting than the bout taking place in the home nation of one of the principles (obviously Fury).

However, if it is finalized for December, I'll expect certain of our forum peers to then premeditate the excuse that Usyk hadn't enough time to recover from Joshua II.

 

6-8 weeks of doing nothing is plenty of rest. If he took punishment then no not long enough but he didnt.

 

It is a quick turnaround for Usyk, on the other hand he is already in tip too shape and did not take a beating from AJ.
