http://sports.setanta.com/en/Sport/...cets/sport-space/great-britain-locale/boxing/ Haye's fight with Chapman doesnt look like its happening now.
I've never seen this Chapman guy fight before is he really that bad? Looking at his record he seems to have power and is 6ft 5, looking at that alone seems like a good tune up fight for Wlad, but i could be wrong.
Chambers, Chapman and Johnson are the 3 guys to pull out in 4 days. Golota was the guys who pulled out 2 weeks ago.
It's only just been announced surely he hasn't **** himself already :-( willl anyone grow some brass ones and fight the chinny cruiserweight lol. I don't know why everyone is blaming haye, everyone keeps pulling out on him :deal
Well this what i have found out about the guy Chapman is a heavyweight boxer. Chapman never fought as an amateur and started in This content is protected before he turned pro in 2002 under the name "The Natural". Chapman hails from Arkansas, "The Natural State". He was trained at first by Ex Champ This content is protected than by This content is protected and now by Norman Wilson, his manager is the very powerful Scott Hirsch who recently netted his fighters This content is protected and This content is protected This content is protected -arranged title fights. Hirsch seems determined to keep Chapman out of harms way and move him along slowly. Chapman's opposition has been less than imposing so far, he is 28-0 but never faced a contender. None of Chapman's first fifteen opponents had a positive record, but his last twelve opponents at least all had winning records. His most notable opponents so far are Chicago based, Edward Gutierrez who was 15-0-1 coming in to the bout, New York veteran, John Carlo who possessed a 14-1 record and fellow undefeated Mid West prospect, Matt Hicks 7-0. He has captured several regional heavyweight titles including, the IBF Southern Regional title, The North American Boxing Council title, The WBC Latino title and The Arkansas State title. His relationship with the very well connected Hirsch has netted him valuable exposure in the boxing-press as a real heavyweight prospect. He has been featured repeatedly on television and received a WBC World Rating of 14. In addition to his fighting career, Chapman moonlights as a fiction writer. He has published short stories in a number of literary magazines, among them Shenandoah and American Short Fiction. His work has also been anthologized in the 2006 edition of New Stories from the South. Im preety sure this fight is going ahead, as the announcement was only made a minuete before my original post.
This is to much its on its off wtf cant understand this , he's hype has really scared alot off the heavy's . oh well Haye vs Julius Francis anyone lol he'd take the fight on a days notice mr Francis would
chapmans a real toughy,he s been after a named opponent himself for a while but hes being avoided so hayes stepping up t o the plate, shows hes got big plans at hw
Exactly.I think its a good test for both of them. Dont understand the criticism. They both have ?? over them,so,fine, let them fight. Whats the problem?
Every opponent Haye has proposed has been Top-10 ranked in some of the major governing bodies and still people criticism him. In other hand same people don’t want him to get a fight with beltholder before proving him self. Who is he supose to fight against?
Why not Haye-Bergeron? Jean-François is 6 foot 5, does not have to much power, did well against Valuev. At least, he is a real boxer who fought real boxers. That Chapman is a farce.
