Atlas just basically said Shane Mosley was possibly shot because he wasn't on PED's

I don't think the people are saying he's shot or old based on one performance, he's been in decline for a while. Obviously, he's a long ways down from his prime years. It's just that he was able to turn back the clock against Margarito. I think he has enough to still beat quite a few WWs(namely Berto and Clottey) but he was up against the best last weekend.

Floyd dominated Shane so comprehensively that for many people, they would rather believe that Mosley is that shot instead of believing that Mayweather is that good. It's a reaction familiar to many Pac fans after a Pac fight

eventually, Shane being old and shot will change from opinion to truth. Sort of like Marquez schooling Pacquiao in the 2nd fight.

When I first saw the fight, I thought: "Mosley got old in 16 months." But I rewatched the fight the next day (this time no alcohol) and Mosley did indeed look good. He had his speed and stamina(he did not get gassed out after 2 rounds) intact, it was just Mayweather's style that made him look akward. He should keep on fighting if he wants, just choose "compatible" styled oponents.

He is not shot, just hours before the fight....Some posters made claims that this would be floyd's toughest fight.....then afterwards, he is shot:-(.....Mosley still has some speed, power, and some reflexes.....When those go, then you can say he is a shot fighter...

Yes but it's ignorant to call him a wrecking machine and not far from his best based on one good performance (Margarito...) after he's shown clear decline since the Vargas fights.

Well, I never said he was not far from his best either  I don't believe anyone would say or believe Shane is prime based on just the Margarito fight. People ARE saying he's shot based on the Mayweather fight.

Well it's just as ignorant to call him rejuvenated based on one fight (Margarito) in which he fought the perfect stlye opponent (who was reported to be weight-drained) with a perfect strategy. In reality, Mosley looked absolutely **** vs. Mayorga and many had El Matador leading on the cards coming into the 12th, I think Mayorga-Margarito-Mayweather shows Mosley is clearly past it.

But just for the overly sensitive Mayweather fans: I thought Floyd's comeback and domination after round 2 was tremendous, he showed some heart and beat the World Welterweight Champion not just some name dude. But I considered Mosley clearly over the hill before the fight and not much changed watching it.
