He can't stay out of the limelight. He loves to look at himself in the mirror. He barely beat an ATG 41 year old and showed big time weaknesses. I'm not a fan. I think Deontay KO's him during one of his panic attacks that he showed against Wladimer.

While Joshua is potentially a huge star and draw in the division and could reignite main stream interest in heavyweight boxing world wide, it's a big leap to say he will dominate for the next 10 years.

10 years is a long time and a lot of things can happen during that time. Wlad was pretty fortunate or unfortunate depending upon your point of view that he really didn't have anyone come up who was good enough to even be competitive with him during his reign. There may be no obvious serious threats to him now but who's to say one doesn't emerge out of the crop of new heavyweights like Yoka, Dubois, Joyce etc. Hell Ortiz is seen as a threat by most even if you have Joshua the favourite. Joshua still has a lot to prove at this point.

I agree. He seems to be preoccupied and not tough enuff when he gets hit.
    Something's not right.

I don't believe he'll have as long of a reign as some think. He gets hit too much and tires very quickly. There are also a lot of future contenders out there who will pose a serious threat for him.

I don't think there is any way Joshua dominates for the next 10 years. First of all he's a Brit and they always retire early. He has also made claims that he plans on retiring in the next few years like a typical Brit. His style isn't nearly as safety first as Wlads which is what led to his longevity. With a more entertaining fight comes more wear and tear and unless Aj has the heart and fighting spirit of Holyfield then it's going to get to him at some point.

what brits retired to early ?
youngest one that i can think of was lewis at 36 and he fought all comers and his biggest nemesis of the era namely bowe retired in his late 20s albeit he made a brief comeback later.

So you say the guy who was completely out on his feet in the 5th, got brutally dropped in the 6th and barely made it up, and was comprehensively outboxed for the rest of the match until he realized he was starting to need a KO to win and went all out in the 11th against a shot to hell 41 year old who looked terrible against Fury and Povetkin, will dominate the Heavyweight division for the next 10 years you say?

For some strange reason, Golovkin loses one round against Brook, he's exposed, Loma loses his second match barely and he's exposed, Ortiz fails to stop the running Malik Scott he's exposed, yet AJ literally goes life and death with a guy most of you said he'd blow out in 2 rounds, conveniently no one notices a thing.

joshua does not have the chin to be dominant for 10 years / he will lose / but he is good for uk and heavyweight boxing / his style and kos are a thing everyone wants to see.

Wlad didn't have a great chin and he dominated for a decade. But I agree I don't think he'll be dominant and undefeated for that long either. Though I think it will simply come down to the fact his defence could be better, his catch and counter has worked so far but he needs better head movement. And his style and want to put on a good show and get KO's will mean he'll be more vulnerable to be upset, all it takes is one punch at this weight.

Yes. Actually I think Joshua will dominate for a bit, but 10 years is far too long. Surely someone will catch him and KO him well before that.

Its possible but my gut tells me Wilder beats him or perhaps Ortiz sometime in the next few years.

what i like about joshua is he is improving
when he fought whyte it was schoolboyish impress the fans and all guns blazing
v breazeale and molina and martin he took his time / picked his punches and closed the show without taking any chances
    he was proffessional
v wlad when he tried to hard shot his bolt and had to fiddle his way through he did and aware he was in danger of losing /threw caution aside in the 11 th and basically walked through wlad forcing the stoppage.

it showed both will to win and adaptabilty when thinhs are not going his way
ortiz IMO biggest danger at the moment / wilder IMO has gone backwards not setting anything up and being landed on by poor fighters/
if he fought AJ in anything like this fashion he is going to be kod as he is wide open when he is on offense his punches to wide /his feet not under him /his chin up in the air/

wilder has abilty but not the where with all to use it.

Yeah I like how he's very obviously making improvements with each fight and keeps showing he can come up with solutions to each style he's presented with.

He keeps his hands higher than he used to, watching him against Wlad or Molina, compared to against Whyte you can see the difference, he's harder to get to, no way Whyte lands that left hook counter next time.

He's shown improvement with the jab, more commitment to it than before. He's learned to counter punch with the right hand, his movement is still an issue but he's improved in that area also, he steps to the side after throwing a lot more than before where he'd just do it to get away not to create new angles to attack and defend. He showed against Wlad he can use his left to prevent a clinch and use it to deflect jabs and counter over the top in return.

I agree Ortiz for me is the bigger threat with his counter punching, he could use Joshua's aggression against him. Wilder has physical talents but as you said doesn't have the skill to fully realise that ability.
