I can't help but notice, that most of the guys I respect most on this site (including the best posters who are Pac fans) had JMM winning tonight.

I am also of the opinion that JMM won a very close fight. He landed flush right hand counters throughout the fight, and I had the fight even going into the 12th. Although he was the older fighter, he had more in the tank in that round and clearly won it.

The fight was definitely no robbery but the overall concensus seems to be that JMM won the fight.

well, that just means that some of us pac fans are very objective when it comes to scoring fights even if it involves pac. i may also be a pac fan but i also consider myself first and foremost a boxing fan having followed boxing since i was still a kid who watched the thrilla in manila as my very first fight.

that's why in my objective opinion, i had pac winning this 114-113. the only unclear round i had to score was the 1st and i gave it to pac. if i would've given it to jmm, then jmm would've won the fight 114-113. i therefore respect the opinion of others here saying that jmm won 114-113. it was a very close fight and could've gone either way. for some people to say that this was a robbery is just plain hating. both of them deserved to win but it would've been an unconvincing and controversial win either way. but in the end, the majority of the judges saw pac winning and we all have to accept it.

It's a close fight. From a distance, JMM might look like the winner. But from the point of view of the judges, Pac has it. The judges know better who won as they were in the best position to see and hear as the fight progresses.

You give far too much credit to judges.

hmm... so, in your opinion, the judges were dishonest. i don't agree with you but i do respect your opinion nonetheless. and yes you are correct that we all have to live with this decision but not necessarily accept it as well.

I may not be the most respectable poster here but i'd just like to share my
honest to goodness scoring and i'm not even asking anybody to agree with me. I scored it 114-113 for pac... and if they had given the same score for JMM i would have accepted it but would probably still be bitching just like other people here, thats how close the fight was.

I reviewed the fight 3 times already... There was no Robbery whatsoever. There were rounds that were very close and depending how you score a fight could have given it to either fighter. Unfortunately for JMM and his fans the judges favored Pac...

time will heal... let's move on...
