Hey first of all, it was a very good fight, it was not the best defense, but oh it was fun to watch. The way Andrade thanked Larouche and Lucas and thinking that Andrade is now a favorite here in Québec, I have this gut feeling that he will at least continu to train here, but am I out of my mind to think that he could sign with Interbox? Thoughts?
The guy certainly has a storied history with Quebec based fighters. Him fighting Bute twice and retiring both Eric Lucas and Otis Grant is quite a link.
The man's got a fanbase in Denmark, too. Andrade's under Golden Boy. Also, InterBox said straight out that they cherry-picked Andrade. There were theories that Lucas set this up purely for promotion, win or lose. Andrade was utter class with them tonight because, well, he's Librado Andrade. :smoke
Bingo, me and my buddies talked about that right after the fight... it would be cool to see him again here in Qc city or Montreal.
Well it's your opinion, but the way I saw it, it seems they were talking like long live friend. For sure GBP is bigger than Interbox, but I realy think that the best money he can make right now is here in Québec as a well known boxer almost local. As for a fight between Lucas and Bute I never heard of it, althouth their was talk about a Pascal-Lucas fight some time ago.
