That's what I've been trying to tell these fools.

Tony doesn't have the PULL to enter the ring at 160 like he usually does.

We will soon enough find out because if he comes in very low the night of the fight, obviously there is some sort of under the radar agreement

We know that Manny timed Cotto perfectly with a super quick shot near the end of the fourth which turned the fight around. Short, crisp shots often hurt more than powerful, wound up punches. Primarily because they land cleaner and more often.

If the Tony from the Cotto fight shows up, Pac is in serious trouble. What I believe people underestimate is that Tony is going to walk through some of these punches initially, and when he gets Pac on the ropes or in the corner, he's going to hurt him. Pac, due to the kind of fighters he's been fighting, is accustomed to standing and trading at will with his opponents, if he does this it's going to be a bad night for him. People constantly talk about what Mosley did to Tony, in short Pac ain't Mosley he's not as big, he's not as powerful, and he's not as good defensively. Pac could get done in based on his lack of live opposition which has conditioned him to be undisciplined and a bit wild at times, this could be the difference in the fight.

Don't expect HBO to say ****..

Tony can't do as he pleases in this fight...he hasnt the juice..no pun intended.

Roach will seek every advantage possible....they already dropped the fight to 150 from 151.

Look how much bigger Cotto was against Judah as opposed the Manny.:deal

To even bring up Clottey in this conversation is moronic.

Clottey did not come to fight.

Clottey came to collect a paycheck.

Clottey should be banned from HBO(he probably is) and regulated to ESPN. Anybody trying to defend Clottey should be banned from eastsideboxing as well.

Clottey is **** and a disgrace to boxing.

I am taking him at +475. It's a tough call because no one knows what he has left in the tank. The war with Cotto probably took more out of him than the beatdown against Mosely.

One thing for certain is that Margo should be stronger at 151 than 147.

I disagree that there will be a weight restriction after the weigh-in. Boxing doesn't want anymore fights such as Mosely/Mora or Paq/Clottey with MMA competition.

so if Clottey is a disgrace to boxing, what does that make Margarito for wearing plaster casts? Clottey had dihharea and felt weak the whole fight...plus he cut a shitload of weight...he didn't just come for the paycheck, he just couldnt compete with Pac....STFU with the "disgrace to boxing" ****...if anyone is a disgrace to boxing its Floyd...for not fight Manny

He had diarrhea, cut a shitload of weight, broke up with his girlfriend, his bed was too hard...blah,blah muther****ing blah.

If Margo knew that he had plaster then he is also a disgrace. No one knows why the Mayweather fight did not get made.

All I know is that anyone defending Clottey after that bull**** he pulled against Paq knows nothing about fighting or heart.

A shop-worn Cotto fought until the end.

A weight-drained Hoya fought until the end.

Marquez, Diaz and Barrera all fought until the end.

Clottey never, ever fought. And now he has no one lined up. The boxing world wants nothing to do with him.

Clottey/Paq fight was worse than the Cintron/Williams fight.

    It was bad for boxing.

:good Good post. Honestly, I believe Pac will win but it won't be half as easy as many people think. I think it's often the Mosley fight referred to as one of the main reasons Pac will win so easily. "Tony is shot to ****, look what Mosley did to him" etc. But Mosley is nothing like Pac. As you said, manny loves to trade and will stand there (at times) and trade with Marg when he tries to pressure him. Mosley didn't do this, he held and spoiled in that fight. A lot. He didn't allow Marg to pressure him with his high volume punching. Marg is certainly big enough and powerful enough to hurt Manny in some exchanges, so it could be a long night for Pac.
