In the space of a week, Pac has gone from a fighter who lost to Marquez and had no chance of beating ODLH.... ....to a fighter who will beat Margarito, Williams and comprehensively beat Hatton. :nut
I don't think the knee jerk can be too bad after the upset he pulled off last night, it's always going to happen.
As great as Manny looked, the fight proved DLH was shot. Just like RJJ against Calzaghe, it had less to do with speed and more to do with an inability to even throw punches. His body wouldn't let him. same thing happened to Ali against Holmes and Spinks, to leonard, etc... Now people will assume Manny has a great chance against the elite welterweights, but reality is, any of the top welters from Cintron to Berto to Cotto to Margarito would have destroyed DLH last night. He couldn't do anything at all.
I know what you're saying. Im half guilty of it myself. Hatton would get KO'd, my opinion on that will not change, but I dont think Pac can beat Margarito. Surprisingly I think Pac does have a small chance against PW as I see Williams as somewhat naive. He comes across as the type of fighter that doesnt relly have a plan B, which is why I think Pac may have a small chance against him.
