    Drugs shortened Hector's career

and in his prime he was too fast and tricky for Leonard, Howard Davis, Duran
Only Duran really had a good chance because of unrelenting pressure

but other than him, no boxer could outpoint him

    styles

that's not evidence. Hector was far and away the best and fastest for at least another year and ahlf

You could see the physical decline after 1987 due MAINLY to his fast lifestyle
Drugs, parties, driving ferrarri's having sex. It's obvious,, why BS trying to hide it?

    It's not BS.

Watch those two fights and it's clear. The evidence is right there for anyone objective enough to see it. The experts noted it at the time and many hardcore fans agreed. But, you know more... ..

You are disregarding the psychological aspect.. .

Hector even said after the Rosario fight, "If this is Macho I want no part of it. "

He had heart and toughness as far as ability to take punches and last the distance but he was scarred from the Rosario fight. His confidence was weakened. He knew he could be hurt. Before Rosario, he was never noticeably hurt in any fight. He changed his style. Some fighters are tougher psychologically than others. They may be hurt, then regroup mentally, and you notice no change in style. Camacho was not one of those fighters. No way he performs as tentatively against Bozaa if the Rosario fight never happened. I was a huge Boza fan, but I could see that Camacho was not fighting with the same confidence and aggression he had displayed against Ramirez just one year earlier. Camacho was 24 when he faced Boza. He had not physically declined. He was shell shocked from the Rosario fight.

By 90, I do think a physical deterioration was showing to compound his problems.

He showed heart against Chavez, but he was light-years removed from his physical and mental prime.
