Mexican Independence Day is September 16, Cinco de Mayo is just Battle of Puebla Day, the day they beat the French army, not a big holly day in Mexico, it's much bigger here in the U.S., I think it's more popular among none Mexicans, September 16 is HUGE in Mexico, thats the day, Cinco de Mayo is nothing compared.

Besides that, did you happen to spend one minute to think that if he fought Pacquiao on a Mexican date he would get FAR more Mexican fans tuning in which is WHY he picked May 5?. Think it's obvious Pacquiao made a career beating Mexican fighters and isn't exactly the most loved fighter there, if anything Mexicans would jump all over this PPV knowing Pacquiao is going in as a live underdog.
