Hamdan was successful at Junior Middleweight about 5-6 years ago and was pretty well ranked in a few organisations. At the time he was Fenech's prized posession, but he just couldn't get a shot at a world title under Fenech. He went it alone from memory and ended up fighting Arthur Abraham (maybe a couple of times?) in Europe and the Europeans loved Hamdan even in defeat. I think that he's retired once or twice as well.
At 33 he's definitely passed his prime, still I hope he lands a few and gets an upset. His nickname is LionHeart and that's for a reason. Hopefully he does get in there and make it ugly!!! Go Nadar!!

F..K Choc, i've been a big fan and still believe in his tallent but for christ's sake! i defended him every other time he fought a bumb, making excuses for him but i'm over him now, hope the hamden fulla knocks him out. Guess what choc your fkn 32 not 22! if there's no one at Super middle to fight go down to the strong mw division.
what a joke fighter, i wish he could learn a thing or two from fighters like oscar and cotto, not trying to be mayweather! ( where did he get the chicken stunt from???)
P.S i wont even buy his fight with green, was over rated the first time!

True, isn't it about time he faces his mandatory? Calzaghe will vacate soon so you could call it a legit title soon enough.
