Wilder tried to dupe the fans instead of taking on the toughest opponents for 40 odd fights.

That said I give Wilder lots of credit for trying so hard in the 2nd Fury fight.

Yeah, the more both men's careers pan out the clearer it becomes that Povetkin would have smashed Wilder more than likely. Just far more skilled, tough enough not to get flatlined if he eats a big right, crisp picture perfect and compact shots that would have sneaked though Wilder's gangly wild swings and turned his lights out. A pity Wilder ran from the fight twice, but had no qualms fighting Ortiz twice, Stiverne twice and Arreola coming off a NC for a failed drugs test.
