Wlad is good. Nobody can deny his attributes given his skillset, which is often basic, but against such limited opposition is as close to riskless as possible, and the payoff is excellent as Klitschko appears monsterous to the hypnotized fans, absenst in mind of the golden years of heavyweight boxing when even the best where forced to fight and sometimes surrender under the pressure of virulent opposition.

Wlad's oppositon has left much to desire, as has been laying to waste relics of the past or limited opposition with amateur styles or a great lack of intellect or physical aptitude and tallent.

Through brilliant matchmaking and cringeworthy opposition, Klitscko has built his career off of straight up and down fighters who were smaller than he, lacking the physical assets to fight their game, unathletic defensive fighters, old washups that had moments in the 90's, and a guy that wouldn't even have been known in the 80's and 90's.

It appears like the only man, aside from his brother of course, who has a shot is David Haye. Haye does make some fundamental mistakes, and he has been down before, but he has a killer instinct, the fastest hands that Wlad will have ever seen, along with conconsive power and a style that helps to make him a small target. He is a great counterpuncher and his movement is far superior than anyone in the heavyweight division, which isn't saying much, but is good enough to give Wlad problems and possibly make him look stationary at times.

But Wlad has told "fans" that he will not fight Haye, and instead likely opting for fighters made for him, such as Povetkin who will come in a straight line, and stand in front of Wlad, with quick hands, but little power, making himself a big target for Wlad to land his powershots upon easily.

It is likely that Vitali will take care of another possible threat to Wlad in the unrefined, but hard nosed Mexican pressure fighter, Chris Arreola. Given Vitali's surgical, and seemingly easy disection of Samuel Peter, it is likely that he has the nerves and the power to take care of Chris as he walks straight in, not able to catch up to the relaxed Vitali. Arreola may never be the same, and Wlad who seems to have panic attacks against this style of fighter will probably never face him.

This leaves Haye and nobody but David Haye.

It's not about Wlad, it's about his opposition. If he wants to be remembered as one of the best, he has to fight somebody that can fight back.

Its about Wlad getting his bodyguard to get rid of anyone who could be a threat to him or beating up anyone who beats up Wlad.

Vitali saw how paniced Wlad was against Peter so came back to get Peter out of contention of a rematch with Wlad. He will now rid Haye from a chance to expose Wlad. Wlad gets the plaudits as the top guy in the division without ever fighting the guy everyone ranks as the next best guy, his protector VITKLIT.

Indeed he can win against someone that can represent a real threat......or just destroy weak fighters in a spectacular fashion (and not only win).

Unfortunately he can't do neither of those. currently there are no good fighters that can represent a real threat ala Corrie Sander. And Wlad just can't destroy lesser fighters in a spectacular fashion (he doesn't have that killer instinct).

Wladimir can still become an ATG if he keeps cleaning out the HW division. And Wladimir has not said he will not fight Haye. Just that he won't fight Haye soon because obviously there's more deserving opponents, like Povetkin and soon to be the Chambers-Dimitrenko winner.

Vlad has to fight his mandatories first. He would have fought Haye, but Haye backed out of fight. Povetkin is mandatory, Vlad has to fight him. Povetkin has already beaten Chambers, etc., was Olympic Gold Medal winner. Haye did not win gold, he was stopped by Solis in amateurs. Vlad will next have to fight winner of Dimitrenko/Chambers fight. Haye? He is nothing but pure hype. Vitali will either fight Haye or Arreola next. Looks like it will be Haye in Sept., after Vitali knocks Haye out he will try to fight Valouev. Why did Haye back out of fight with Vlad?

There is so much extreme hate toward Klitschkos. It does not appear to be provincial either. Klitschko are excellent fighters, that's why there is so much hate for them in America. USTV does not help.

Fans shouldn't have a ****ing concern with Wlad saying "go and prove yourself" to Haye. If they want to see whether or not Haye is a likely challenger, let him dominate the other HWs in the way Wlad has.

If he can, then it makes the fight all the more interesting. If he can't, we know he's ****, wind and bull****.

Vitali and Vlad had to work their way to the top for years. It took a lot of very hard work for them to do such from amateurs to pros.

Klitschkos opposition is not bad, it's just that Klitschkos are so much better than opposition.

exactly. i just dont know where all of this "Wlad wont fight Haye" crap came from. Haye pulls out, needs 8 weeks to heal, Wlad goes forward with a fight against #3 in the world and now has 2 Mands, yet the Haye fans say Wlad is ducking. simply not true at all. I can tell you WLAD WANTS HAYE!! If Haye can win his fights while Wlad deals with Mands, THEY WILL GET IT ON!!

When did Wlad say that he won't fight Haye? He didn't.
After Haye pulled out Wlad said he's done wasting time on the unproven loudmouth and that Haye needs to get in line now and deserve his chance. If he can earn a mandatory shot, Wlad will gladly dispose of him. If Haye is so exciting and talented, he would have no problem earning a mand shot in the ring.

And speaking of mandatories, that's exactly what Povetkin is. Wlad is not "opting" for him, he's facing his mandatory challenger to defend the IBF belt he worked for. I suppose he should just toss the belt in the garbage to face an inactive cruiserweight with a glass chin. And by the way, that mandatory (Povetkin) is an Olympic gold medalist and has proven a lot more at heavyweight than Haye has.

Thats also what I dont get. The haye fans ALL say 'Haye will KO Wlad and clean out the division". If that is true, why is Haye and his fans so reluctant to go prove it while Wlad fights his Mands?:huh

    When did Wlad say that?

    I can tell you when...NEVER!

Wlad was even going to wait the weeks. I know this because I had to make changes at home so I could stay in camp an extra 5 weeks, but then Booth called and said it would be 8 weeks and we couldnt wait that long

Wlad NEVER said he wouldnt fight Haye. He wanted to fight him and still does

Put the blame of this fight not happening where it belongs... on the shoulders of David Haye (injury or not:)deal
