Bernard Hopkins earlier in the week said "It's not how you start it's how you finish". WELL WHAT A FREAKIN WAY TO FINISH MY MAN!! BERNARD HOPKINS, YOU MY FRIEND JUST GOT KNOCKED THE **** OUT .. OF THE RING!!! ON TO YO HEAD !! DID THAT SERIOUSLY JUST HAPPEN. I'M LITERALLY SPEECHLESS .. The way he fell out of that ring was artistically stunning. What a way to go out. What a way to end a career. To literally fall out of a ring, from a perfectly placed left hook, through the ropes, all you could see was Hopkins legs just falling down upside down. Wow. Hopkins, seriously, I take my hat off to you. I mean you couldn't have gone out in a bigger blaze of glory than that. Don't even try to comeback. Just have your career end like that. Wow. Bernard you the man though. Bernard You a Legend. You went out YOUR WAY . YOU TOOK THE BLOW, THE FINAL BLOW, RIGHT THROUGH THE ROPES, YOU DID IT .. YOUR WAY.. Note : In the post fight interview, at first Hopkins couldn't admit he got KO'd. He was sure he was pushed. Then it started to sink in. I can't even believe this happened like this. This was a work of art the way he fell out of that ring. Do you guys think Hopkins is going to be able to accept this. I guess we're gonna have to check out the post fight press conference next. I must say this was an amazing card, all fights were awesome. Bernard seriously you are the MAN. You had an unbelievable career. You went out in a blaze of glory. It was artistically beautiful how you fell through those ropes on to your head, but seriously, you're damn near 52 years old and you could have actually won a split decision. You're a legend and it's been an absolute honor to watch your fights. Much respect to you B Hop, but goodness gracious that KO. DID THAT REALLY SERIOUSLY HAPPEN???
gets punched out of the ring, claims he was pushed, falls on he's head with he's legs in the air, says he hurt he's ankle, classic hopkins always looking for that no contest. even when he's brains get scrambled he always has that no contest in mind, some boxers go into survivor mode, hopkins goes into no contest mode
bhops words bite him in the ass lol. what he said isn't true though, it's not about how you finish, it's about your overall body of work. he should have focused on figthing instead of being a philosopher.
B-Hopkins is so cringey at times. That was embarrasing. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt though, he was put on his ass and walked out (with his broken ankle ) without having seen a replay. Even Jim Lampley seemed embarrased.
