It's not looking good for a Haye vs klitschko match up right now according to Mike Costello.

Sham if true, I have to say I haven't heard much about a possible match up lately - so much so, it was even starting to slip off my radar.

    Yeh, heard this also.

Trying to predict whether this happens or not is impossible with K2 trying to dictate terms and Hayemaker wanting to keep some control. we've been here before remember.

There's the added complication of the Sauerland options too.

If Haye can make money, have almost meaningful fights then why take the shitty end of a deal unless HBO get behind and demand the fight with a bucketload of cash to sweeten the terms.

Haye will only take the Klitschko fights after he has made a ton of money associating himself with their names. He is doing good business by constantly building up interest in himself by talking up a fight with either one of them. If he hadnt first gatecrashed that charity event and asked Wlad for a fight when he first came up to HW, then he wouldnt be known in america as much as he is now.

****, don't like the sound of that...because regardless of how much it's true or not, Haye's going to get labelled badly if a fight falls through a second fight.

People won't give a damn about contractual rights and options and so on, they'll just say he's ducking again.

Haye needs to man the **** up and back up his big words. **** business, he's painted himself into a corner with his **** talking and if he makes excuses this time he is a fraud. I hate to say it :verysad

Since about the last couple of months or so I've had serious doubts about whether Haye wants to get in the ring or not. I won't be surprised if he doesn't fight either of the Klits.

    Yep.

He sounded pretty sure that any deal was a long way off it at all, so I guess he knows a little of what's going on behind the scenes.

I still think they will have a fight each before fighting each other. If Wlad really wants the fight, he will have to offer him either 50% or a 60/40 winners split. If he offers any thing less then he can't accuse Haye of not wanting the fight.

60/40 for Wlad win or lose is fair. He's ring champion and regularly fills stadiums in Germany. He should get the bigger share. Haye should accept. I think Wlad will settle for 50/50 though. He just wants to fight now.

Lucky for Haye. Looks like he dodges another bullet.
