LeBron is not a good looking dude at all and his wife is like a solid 5. Also doesn't have a dad. People don't see his life as perfect like Brady's is.

People do hate Kobe Bryant though. He's been the most hated player in the NBA forever.

Kelly Pavlik is an interesting case study in it.

Common thinking is that a white American boxing champion with KO power in a prestige division is something of a Holy Grail that boxing promoters would kill each other to land.

At some point in time, that was the case. From the 60's to 90's in particular, as the number of world-level white American boxers declined after the post WWII era. As a result, in modern day boxing, a lot of fans are quick and relentless to proclaim any white U.S. fighter as a hype job or fraud.

Pavlik, even after he won the lineal title via knockout, was still considered a "great white hope" by many. How you can be the champion and still be a hope, or what exactly people were hoping for in a division where the other titlists were also white, is still a mystery.

His ratings didn't blow up. He didn't become a PPV superstar. He didn't get any extra attention above and beyond what an American middleweight champion with KO power would've received.

The days of people wanting a great white hope are long gone, but it's white fighters today who pay the price for that old-fashioned mindset.

GGG is getting credit for doing half of what Pavlik did.

    Stop playing the victim.

America is the best place on earth for a white person.:deal

America is probably the easiest place to be successful for any race. Not just white people.

Get out that trailer,Delbert...and stop feeling sorry for yourself.
Black people aren't the reason your life sucks.

Being White in America is not a hindrance like you're trying to imply.

Your life must truly blow if you feel victimized because you are white.

    That's the point you nincom****.

Many people are quicker to buy that a foreign white fighter is legit than they will an American one born and raised here, and the backlash is a direct result from the "white hype" days before.

Kelly would've gotten more credibility with the exact same accomplishments had he come from Russia or Ukraine.

Why do you jump to conclusions and infer so incessantly? Just calm down, take a breath, go back to school and just interpret what people are writing.
