If he losses to this Senchenko, he will be put off the map, only as a gatekeeper for the new kids, that is if he is dumb to stay in the game. He must win to further his career. That being said, I find it very hard for him to win a decision in Senchenko's hometown, unless its a complete shutout, keep in mind that Senchenko's cherry has never been popped, but at the same time he's only fought less than par opposition, all's said, WAR MALIGNAGGI!
OK, I'll play. We are talking about the guy that said he is only in this for the money after taking a beating from Hatton? Right?
To answer the question though, I'm afraid never. Pauli was always game and you can't take that away from him. He would have gone on with the Hatton fight and I feel was genuinely pissed at this corner for doing their job. He reminds me of the local kid Billy Lyell though. Just doesn't have the punch to keep the heavy hitters off of him and that is just killer at the top level of this sport.
Fogetaboutit. Him and Judah should fight each other. No offense, but they got their chances they good in Judahs case he was very good AT TIMES, but them 2 need to stick fighting B level comp and prospects. In another words in well matched fights. We already know what happened when facing elites like Cotto and Khan. Paulies a good talker has a good future as a commentator I think.
I find Paulie to always be a good show. He's got some real boxing skills and speed. Unfortunately, he's lacking other natural talents, but he's always fun to watch in and out the ring. I watched this a few months ago. Pure comedy with some good info. (First of 6 episodes) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GCUlF7V3Y70&feature=related[/ame]
If the guy didn't have brittle hands he could have been a champ. It's a shame because he is such a solid fighter.
