It's boxing anything can happen , Hunter winning is never an impossibility just unlikely . Fact is no matter who AJ fights be it Hunter , Ruiz or indeed Ortiz they are better fights than Fury's and Wilder's more at stake and better boxers . If Usyk makes the transition to HW then Wilder and Fury are both 2nd tier fighters to me with AJ and Usyk being the pedigree boxers .

 

Yeah I agree about HW boxing anything can happen but there's also levels in this sport and Joshua is levels above, he shouldn't be losing to Hunter.

Don't agree with Fury being 2nd tier. He should be the WBC champ atm. He arguably has better wins than Joshua, he beat a younger version of Wlad and he beat Wilder. That's not bad for 2nd tier.

 

I doubt they are scared of AJ.

Yeah Fury should be WBC champ but its US V UK that will never happen . Lewis , Bruno , Calzaghe no need to say anymore . In fact good on Fury for not taking the re-match against Wilder , Fury made his point and good to see Wilder and PBC actually stew on something . His victory against Wlad was a good victory but not a complete one honestly . I distinctly remember Fury praying at the end before the results , and he never fulfilled his contract with Wlad .

Fury's notable wins were Hammer , Cunningham , Wlad and Chisora twice . Sorry but that is no way near AJ's level , since AJ defeated Kevin Johnson AJ has been put in against undefeated HW's (except Molina and Wlad oh and Povetkin) who for the most part are current top 10 HW's . I think AJ is clearly ahead of the pack by quite a margin honestly .

 

I get Ortiz wanting to be in shape, but this was a great opportunity. It might not come again.
