But this shouldn't really be a ppv itself.

Simple, because boxing first and foremost is a business.

What drives the most business? Entertainment.

And what gets fans entertained? Storylines.

The vast majority of people who watch the big fights aren't real boxing fans who keep up with the sport like us on this forum; they're casuals who may watch one or two fights a year. And a good build-up with a storyline (like Eubank-Benn, Logan Paul-KSI etc) is more likely to interest casuals, than a high-level fight with no real storyline other than those two guys are both really good boxers (like Josh Taylor vs Ramirez and Charlo vs Castano for undisputed for example - both elite-level contests that barely drew any casual fans)

It’s a PPV for a reason. It’s the biggest fight.

Are you forgetting that boxing is not actually a sport? It’s a business. It’s entertainment.

No, there`s no real gap between Haney, Davis and Garcia.

    Haney is the undisputed champion.

    The other two aren't.

After him we have Kambosos and Lomachenko.

    Then it's Garcia and Davis

It's going to be a lot easier for the 26 year-old Benn to bulk up to 156 lbs than it is for the 33 year-old Eubank to boil down to it. Eubank Jr could be in deep trouble if he finds deep water.
