Cotto would wreck Canelo. He'll fight him when he feels like it. He just came off a competitive loss to an ATG, and by now fans should know he doesn't duck anyone.

After coming from a competitive loss to the p4p king, and giving him his toughest fight in 10 years, Miguel has earned the right to fight whoever the **** he wants. :deal

It wouldn't be competitive? Do you think cotto would fight like against Margo or may? The physical advantages of canelo would play no part? Canelo can bang counter punch and press it would not be a walk in the park and I can't wait till it happens... That is if he makes it past trout which is a very competitive fight.

Don't you think it's possible that he's trying to time it so that a matchup with a Mexican superstar like Canelo would occur on a Mexican holiday? Just sayin'... Not to mention that if he was ducking Canelo, why would he fight someone as tricky and athletic as Trout? He'd fight K-9 if he wanted an easy title fight...

Canelo might beat him with size and youth, luckily for him all the money guys are very small at 154. But it's shameful that a guy whose best divisional win is Rhodes thinks he can dictate the terms to Cotto.

It would, but that ain't what I wanna' see.

I think Canelo is actually pretty good and may after all the bull**** turn out to be the goods to one degree or another.

My favourite fight for Cotto at this point is Alvarez. That's the fight I wanna' see and like some of the other posters in this thread said: it's coming. :bbb

Are you talking about a very limited fighter with the first name Saul?

It would have been a hard fight to make anyway. Both guys carry a lot of demands. Plus, frankly, Trout is higher risk (due to styles) and lower reward than Canelo anyway, which makes it hard to say that Cotto is ducking.
