    A few journalists out there were saying that the fight would be on Showtime, according to their sources. Their sources were obviously wrong.

    That was never a realistic option. Floyd = GBP fighter, and GBP is in bed w/ HBO. Especially on fights of this magnatude.

    My back yard had an equal chance as SHO doing this. :D

    if you mean HBO as in "HBO" and not "HBO PPV"
    then i would say it is shocking news.... if thats not what you meant then you should make another thread as "Floyd Mayweather jr is a boxer"

    Well, there was some merit in their view though, as Haymon is taking his show to Showtime. I believe we'll see a majority of his fighters on Showtime broadcasts this year.

    This just in meth head GBP is in bed with Showtime now they just put their own man in as head of the network. Haymond is sending his fighters to Showtime as well

    only reason bobby went to showtime was because he was offered a better deal and dates for cotto and pac.
