Ugas is really, really talented. Very fast hands. Great boxing skills. A lead left to "wow" the audience. I surely hope chin issues won't let him down but I'm afraid it will be a problem.

That is why he should hire Freddie Roach RIGHT AWAY, no questions asked, move to LA and start from scratch under Coach Roach, maybe he could share a room with Rigo or something, better for settling in.

Seriously. At 23, if he can learn the pro game under such a professional trainer, he'll have 5 more years of his prime than Gamboa, Solis and Rigo, and he can't make the right choices early enough.

Politically seen it's a very smart and well thought-out investment.
Say what you want but the Cuban's are one of the proudest nations in the world. And medals only add to that.
The ONLY reason why guys like Ugás and plenty of other sports people flee is because of the terrible poverty which is created by, and a direct cause of the US' outdated embargo.

Cuba knows what they are doing and why. It's unconventional diplomacy.

I personally don't find his style that exciting at all.
Also, his straight right is very often a slap.
He definately has talent though, that's for sure.
