Banks would have been a better choice in my opinion.

The Banks who struggled with Rossity is no match for a motivated version of Macca in my opinion.Lebedev is of tougher stock.Whats more Lebedev has far more pop in his fists than Banks!

 

His fight record is not that outstanding. He beat Castillo in his last fight.However,Banks also knocked Castillo out in the first half of their encounter.Castillo's claim to fame is a point victory over Michael Moorer a couple of years ago.
Lebedev also beat Karanevich by way of point decision. Karanevich has fought the who is who at light heavy,cruiser,and super middle.He is a kind of gatekeeper at cruiser/light heavy.
Another known name among his skalps is Berry Butler,a well known American journeyman who now and then upsets a favoured fighter.

Well,why do I think that he will stop Macca? Because I ve watched him live and on tv. He scored the most brutal ko victory I ve ever seen in a ring(pros and amateurs).

He is quite slow and can be outboxed by a fast and skilled fighter.An iron chinned brawler also has a good chance to beat him in my opinion.Well,Macca is no outstandingly fast fighter-neither is he an iron chinned brawler.
He will probably win some rounds before he finds himself lying in the ring dust against Lebedev.I may be wrong of course!

Lebedev will have to nail his true colours to the mast in this upcomming fight and Macca will have to prove that he can still be a mayor player at cruiser by beating an undefeated puncher.

If Lebedev loves Mom & Dad as much as Afolabi, Macca is f*cked.

Lebedev can punch,but Macca will be extremely cautious after that ko loss to Ola.

Afolabi caught Enzo off guard, ala Rahman Koing Lewis, Brewster Koing Klitschko, and Thompson Koing Haye.

David Haye said himself, in his own expert opinion that Enzo was the second best CruiserWeight in the World behind him. The guy is an extremely good fighter.

 

Props to Enzo for not having an easy come back fight. The guy will fight anyone any where.

 

My guess is that Macca had no clue who Lebedev was thinking that he must be an unheralded journeyman from Russia whom he would blast out of the ring within seconds.

He will have to bite the bullet as soon as he enters the ring with Lebedev.It will be a death and life struggle for Macca.
