    LAS VEGAS – UFC president Dana White has often predicted that the company’s biggest show will be in Toronto on April 30 at UFC 129.
    He announced Saturday that Georges St. Pierre would defend the UFC welterweight title against Jake Shields in the main event of that show. Former light heavyweight champions Randy Couture and Lyoto Machida are expected to meet in the co-main event.

    I like couture but he needs to join liddell and retire. Hopefully machida can send him there.

    I just can not get exicted for GSP vs Shields. GSP is going to dominate him and im really not seeing anyway that doesnt happen. Couture vs Machida is an intriguing fight although im alittle nervous for my favorite fighter.

    I think its absolutley disguisting Sheilds fights GSP before Fitch !!!!!!!!!

    It should be Penn Shields and GSP Fitch 2 its a ****in joke and an insult to John Fitch .................

    GSP will blow Sheilds away in every aspect of the sport , those who think Sheilds's ground game is gonna be relevant in this fight are sorely mistaken , this will be GSP's first stoppage since Serra (thats if like me you dont see a retiring fighter as a stoppage , Penn) ..........

    Shields vs Kampmann proved Jake should face at least one more opponent at WW before GSP, and Penn would have been a very interesting match up IMO. Plus, if Kos was lucky enough to get a shot, Fitch most certainly deserves one even more.:think

    Don't see how the fight goes to the ground. This will look a lot like the Koscheck fight, except Shields gets knocked out imo.
