Hahahaha do people actually believe in "The Champ"?
Haye has every reason to turn down a fight against Briggs to help get himself closer to a title fight.

Briggs was a good boxer once. That was some years ago now...

The fact that AJ, Parker and Ortiz would spark Briggs out within 4 goes to show that he has no place in the ring with Haye.

A duck is a duck... Whether he was afraid of losing or not(I don't believe he was ether for the record) But it's yet another pull out from Haye... Guys a complete disgrace. Add it to the ever increasing list.....

Its not about Briggs being a threat. Of course Haye would demolish him, that's without question.

The point is this is just another lie of Haye's getting exposed. He said he would fight Briggs if he fought on his UK card and "won decisively". Haye said this into all cameras with a straight face. Then retracts it once again. He has a history of making promises and breaking them.

When it looked like he was going to fight Briggs, the same people now calling him a ducker were calling him a "cherry picker" for fighting a 44 year old guy with no legitimate wins in a decade!

Let's be real. Haye/Briggs was always a garbage fight, it's only appeal would have been the build up to the fight.

If Haye is actually looking to face someone decent then I have no issue with him pulling out of a fight with Briggs. But if he fights another can then yeah you can rip him a new one but we have to wait and see what his next move is before we judge.

Anybody who has seen me talk about Haye on here will know I dislike Haye immensely, I am certainly not a fan.

Haye shouldn't go anywhere near Brigg's. Haye should be being praised for not fighting Brigg's, certainly not condemned. To call it a duck is just ridiculous, remember who we are talking about, it's Brigg's, an old man who gets excited, shouts loudly and wasn't very good in his prime.

The Boxing News magazine here is the UK absolutely slaughtered Haye for even the suggestion of Brigg's as an opponent a few months ago and it looks like Haye and his Team have listened to them and many many British boxing fans who saw this potential fight as a complete joke and another night of skinning casual boxing fans out of a few pound notes.

Now Haye has to get a credible opponent, a genuine threat, Haye needs to step it up drastically.
