When you pull out a razor-thin decision against a guy that got TKO'd by Jesse Brinkley, your career as a legit contender is through.

I think it was clear in the previous 2 or 3 fights that he required a helping hand from the judges to get the nod. He should call it quits before he gets hurt.

Yeah, I don't think his mind is in it anymore. I wonder what it's going to take for him to quit.

Jeff should keep himself preserved by fighting a few more tomato cans and waiting for a big fight to pay his pension.

He's trying to it looks like, and just got an MD in his back yard. Doesn't look good for him.

This has been known for a long time already. All started after he fought Calzaghe.

They would have to be really weak tomato cans; at this point I wouldn't even put him in with Sheika

Looks like it. So in retrospect, Lacy's corner probably should have thrown in the towel after round 6 or so.

It's sad. Three years ago, just before the fight with Calzaghe, I was really looking forward to seeing his career during his prime. Who'd have thought he had already reached the peak of his career.

    He lost his confidence.
The expectations were too much, The Calzaghe fight shattered him.
