He should not fight the big names anymore, gambling with his health.

Yep, I agree. I actually think people have underestimated the effect of that injury on Lacy. It completly ruined his best boxing attribute.

 

Lacy has been done for awhile now. This fight only further proves it.

 

Just doesn't seem to have it anymore.

At least when he was a bit younger and undefeated he seemed to have that confidence and athleticism to overcome his flaws.

Now with the losses and the shoulder injury...he can't do that.

Calzaghe destroyed him mentally and his injury finished him physically. And thats that.

A pre Calzaghe and Injury Lacy stops everyone he has faced post 06 with the exception of Taylor. Easily.


He was never what the American press were building him to be before 06, but he was more than enough to take care of the fighters he is struggling with now.

 

Lacy can still beat alot of top guys...he lost to Taylor...okay but his career is finished just on that loss...
