With Gamboa it's totally different, as John has never seen such speed, power and agression from an Olympic Gold medalist " in his prime ". This bout will be John's farewell party, too bad it will end badly for him.
I could very well see Gamboa ovewhelming John with his speed. With that said Gamboa hasn't seen anyone close to as good as John is. It will make for an interesting scrap that's for sure.:good
Agree, I'm a Gamboa fan, but I'm not blind, Salido tested Gamboa and he didn't pass it with flying colors, he could had koed him but fustration make him hit him on the canvas, the guy was out, and he just could had wait for the 8 count and go at it again, he mistake it profesionalism with dirty tactics, I hope he had learned from that scrap, Salido is not a pushover, he went 12th rounds with La Cobrita Gonzalez and 12th with Juan Manuel Marquez, and all his loses were 10-15 years ago, CJ is the top Dog and has been for many years at 126lbs. He has to understand that, he can't and will not walk all over every fighter he face.
*I think John can Ko Gamboa... i think Gamboa has no whiskers..and Chris John will land... I think John surprises all by a 7th round ko.
So salido is not a good win, according to you, but Luevano is a good win for Juanma or a one handed fighter that almost koe him is a good win.
Maybe if John had fought since his back to back whatever performances against Rocky Juarez. Juarez, while a tough mofo, is still just Rocky Juarez. It'll likely be a Gamboa UD, but I wouldn't be stunned if he took him out in the first 5 rounds either. If the KO doesn't come by then, I don't suspect it will.
But will be at Canvas at least few times. John does not have power to ko him only crack abit Goombao's shaky Whisker.
