Korobov vs Saunders for vacant WBO title has been announced by WBO president.

    Who wins?

No, it's not 'official'. He just said it looks likely. Fights are made between promoters and AFAIK no final agreement has been reached yet, but the fight looks like it has a WBO mandate if a deal can be made.

I think Korobov wins in the absence of some serious home cooking.

Fight rumored to be in UK. but.. Korobov is with TR, just depends on how much effort Uncle Bob wants to expend to keep it level.

If TR (or Roc) shows up at purse bid and takes it, and its in US I favor Korobov. If its in UK I favor Saunders. I dont see either guy stopping the other, and both can throw punches and fight so really it likely comes down to judging bias.

Korobov will outbox Saunders (in every round he bothers to fight:D).

Possibly. In the UK Korobovs habit of just randomly cruising for stretches will cost him rounds, but I still find it hard to imagine BJS beating him. IMO the skill gap is just too large... but y'never know - a little home cookin' can go a long way.

I hear Terry O'Connor has been working out. He will need to drop some weight and add muscle to more effectively carry Saunders back to his corner....
