Why is the glass jawed chicken-dance Zab Judah still alive and how did he manag to beat Mathysse?

Judah's not glass-jawed. He out-maneuvered him most of the fight, then got up from the canvas to win a controversial decision.

Since losing to Alexander, Matthysse has been on a tear KOing everyone in his path. I think the best thing that could have happened to Lucas career was those two bad decisions(Judah & Alexander), he has taken the judges out of the equation ever since. He will do the same with Danny Garcia in Sept.

    I have to disagree.

He hasn't been doing anything differently since the Zab fight. Zab just didn't allow him to get set. Zab and Khan are the fastest guys in that division, plus Zab has good movement and some pop of his own.

Plus, that was not a bad decision. It was a close fight that could have gone either way. There's a difference.

I believe Matthysse's aggression could potentially hurt him against Garcia. In the Alexander and Judah fights, Lucas was a lot more patient and calculated. While I think the Judah fight could have went either way, I think he clearly beat Alexander. So now, as you said, he wants to take the judges out of the equation, therefore, he's taking a lot more chances. In taking those chances, he often throws wild and leaves himself wide open for counter shots. Which could come back to bite him in the ass against Garcia, who has a knack for timing opponents with that lethal left hook of his. Lucas may have got away with being a bit reckless against Peterson, Soto, and Ajose...but none of those cats have a fraction of the power Garcia has.

I actually think Lucas will fare better by fighting Garcia the way he fought Alexander and Judah because Danny isn't nearly as slippery as those two guys, and because he's going to be looking to use Matthysse's aggression against him, by timing him while he's on the attack.

    Soto KO % is 64 and Garcia's KO % is 61.

Now please explain to me how Soto hasen't even a fraction of Garcia's power.

    My mistake, sorry!

All those guys you've named are orund 50% KO rate, you really think that Garcia's power (61%) is SO different from them?
