Floyd loves his money, but he cares about his "0" more. The "0" is a huge part of his marketability and his villain persona. People tune in hoping to see him lose. If he did lose, then his drawing power would fall into the shitter as a result. He doesn't have a built-in fanbase the way Manny has the Philippines, Trinidad once had Puerto Rico, and countless Mexican boxers have had Mexico/Southern California. He doesn't have a style with mass casual appeal. All he has is the villain persona and the "0" which makes people want to see him get his comeuppance.

That's the reason he won't take on risky fights. He could get paid $100 million to fight Martinez now or Manny back in the day, and he wouldn't do it, only because the damage to his future marketability would be huge if he lost. Thus, he won't even consider fighting someone with a chance to win. Instead, he takes on easily winnable fights while trying to convince the public they're actually difficult fights. That's been the story of his career ever since the Castillo rematch basically.

Ya, Floyd really had a lot of requests....Asking for random blood testing and more than 50/50 cut is really outrageous.

Especially how Pacquiao agreed to taking a smaller cut but then when it came time to actually sign he completely refused.

 

believe me hawk the 0 is not because of persona or his markbility. he is just afriad of losing because at the end he seems like a stuttering young imature sensible under confident guy. maybe it is because he is small like a midget, or because he still has troubles from the past when he dad was kicking his ass or who knows why. but thats the point. I can understand him in certain ways, I also think that he would lose vs martinez or even a prime paul williams standing 6'3 would have troubled him, but if that is the case I wouldn't tell everybody I was the greatest when deep inside I know I should better stay the **** away from prime margarito or prime tszyu, prime mosley, prime vernon forrest on and on and on......

 

than he is dumb. I would prefer making like 100-200 million in 2-3 hardcore fights vs pacquiao, martinez or canelo, than fight 4-7 easy oppoents for half or even more less money.

Terrible fight. I don't see how Guerrero can be effective.

But then again the guy is really pushing his luck now, 36 and very inactive. Pacquiao, Mosley, De La Hoya and the rest struggled more and more at this age and got let off for poor opponent choices and losses. Mayweather doesn't get the same treatment. Maybe because hes a bit of a ****? lol

gloves, where the fight should be held, when and in what ring, blood test 30 days, than 15 days, than on the day of the fight. than everything was agreed, than suddenly no fifty/ fifty, on top no ppv money for pacquiao hahaha...like manny was some kind of journeyman you dumb or what.

and than manny is saying latly on espn that he accepts everything floyd wants from him and you know what floyd said to manny on the phone:"but what if I lose?"
