Minus that the fight wasn't that much to cheer for.

Take into consideration a few factors.

The place had 50k people there.

10k or so were in the bars around the stadiums. Because of the party pass.

The other 40k or so were around the ring. But they were cheering into a place that's meant to house 110,000.

Hard for the atmosphere to be great / loud in those conditions.

    or maybe . . .

    the enitre card sucked?

    plus

pacquiao sold that stadium out himself and whatever the ppv does is 100% pacquiaos drawing power considering how hard clottey failed at hyping this fight or giving anyone the slightest bit of hope that he could actually win

To be fair, for it to be at cowboys stadium is alot better for fans. Average ticket for MGM grand, a boxing match is around £700.... At Cowboys it was less than £100. So yes maybe not as good of an atmosphere but it gives the working class a more realistic chance of seeing their heros

Atmosphere sounded dead apart from the screaming bitches who screamed everytime Clottey got near boxing. Don't go to boxing if your **** scared of seeing your fighter get hit!!!!!

Pac against the winner of Mosley vs Mayweather just might fill out the whole stadium

Yeah. Let's blame the fans.

You should feel sorry for the good people who showed up. Sitting through that shitfest was human torture.

there were very few moments all night that really called for a sustained crowd reaction, the entire card was pretty lackluster, its hard to get too excited when nothing exciting is going on

There was no atmosphere because the fight was a joke to begin with.

Anybody who had any ****ing clue knew they were going to watch Pacquiao hit a walking heavy bag for 12 rounds.

Just rewatched the fight on tv and it did sound louder at the stadium than on tv, but like some of yall said it aint gonna be loud if you have nothing to make noise over. I thought the atmosphere was good considering who Pac was fighting but you gotta think this isn't no mega fight so its not going to be like the NBA all star game in there.

The things I hated about the stadium is first of all they only sold miller lite and mgd beer. **** they could of at least sold some tecate since they were sponsoring it. $8.50 for that crap, takes like a 12 pack to get drunk off of that ****. Next, $50 for parking! WTF! Lucky I had 4 more people with me and we all split it. For $20 you can park like half a mile away and get shuttled there but you have to walk back. Last thing that pissed me off was getting in to the stadium. You had to keep walking all the way around outside of it until you get to your gate. Why can't they just let you in and then direct you to where your going. I had to **** really bad and spent 15-20mins getting to my damn gate so I could get in.

All in all i'm a boxing fan and as long as its gonna be a good fight I'll watch it anywhere. If Pac was to fight winner of PBF/Mosely there, trust me you would go if you could and the atmosphere would be a hell of alot different than the Pac/Clottey fight.
