He's only the winner if he wins! But whatever the result...win lose or draw I'd just like to see Kessler back in top class action.

And I'm pretty sure the fans would be a winner also.

 

What about the sanctioning bodies?Surely they won't allow this?

Kessler for instance has the mando with Perdomo right?

 

For me: Kessler, Froch, Bute, and Andrade are the pretty clear top four h2h (and probably in that exact order). Pavlik and Abraham need to actually join the party before they can be guests of honor. Taylor is floating somewhere in the 5-10 range based on what's basically a 1-2 record (but two hard-fought losses to good fighters) at the weight. Both Andres are just about ready to cross the threshold from prospect to contender...I certainly rank them both h2h above Bika, who boxrec has at #4 nut). Haven't seen enough of Ballsy.

So at worst, we have a tournament involving half of the top ten, and one of the top two middleweights in the world. Sign me up.

 

I would love if they all ditched their worthless belts and went ahead with the tournament as a massive **** you to them all.

A $50 million tournament without the involvment of sanctioning bodies.

im a bigg ward fan and have seen most of his fights i think AA is all Wrong for Ward. i say Its AA and Kessler Tourney but anything can happen in boxing

 

I'm pretty sure Kessler does not give a **** about his WBA belt that he won beating Haussler and Sartison. He just wants to prove he's the best against the best fighters, and well...the prize money is always nice!

Froch might see it differently though. I get the impression he sleeps with the WBC belt under his pillow the way he talks.

 

Except this is a hand full of promoters and Showtime and they all have their own agenda. You sure that in the end this will be better? :think

sounds Plausable . the promoters mentioned so far could ban together to battle THE seemingly Unbeatalbe Enemy 2 headed GIant that form it's self in GBP and TOp Rank. sound like a saturday morning cartoon plot but it's sound good for us boxing fans

If they promise the fighters/promoters good money, they will drop the belts when it is inevitable.

 

The news in Denmark at the moment: Viasat is aware of the alleged tournament, but has no further comments.
Mike Marley (Mogens Palle american lawyer): "This is an interesting idea, but because of the situation right now I have no comments."

Kessler and Palle have yet to make a statement.

 

This is going to be SICK if it ever happens.
