He was on the undercard and as Braehmer suddenly left, it's not like they had many options. I dont have any compaints, as this was probably his only choice for a fight.
most fights get cancelled....rather than dig up corpses for a substitute rather than mismatches from hell...joppy was done 8 years ago.....
People will complain either way. Shumenov was prepared to fight, so at least hes getting one. Blame it on the guy who dropped out.
Joppy trains a good friend of mine. Sadly, he is dead set on getting his 40th win and will keep fighting until he gets it. I believe he plans to retire immediately afterwards.
Shumenov could be the worst champion of this century by a country mile. Wouldnt be surprised if Joppy knocks him the fugg out.
He's far from great but there are way worse paper champs. Just between 160 and 175, I can think of three (all German, BTW): Sylvester, Stieglitz, Braehmer.
