Here it mentions the brothers make between 7-10 million euros per fight, which trasnlated to dollars is 9.24-13.2 millon $, substantially more than you claim. Now provide sources that Haye has made 8 million $ for both the Valuev and Ruiz's fights.

 

As far as I know they weren't. And that in turn means they probably were much less impressive than the Haye - Valuev numbers. You can box bums only so many times when you ask 14.95 quid for it.

 

Never understood why Wlad didn't just wait a few weeks. We wouldn't even be having this conversation if he had.

JMM waited for Floyd to recover from his injury, which was around the same time, and there was no controversy there.

I am not too optimistic about the "negotiations". I bet one way or another there will be a road block because Haye appears to have lost interest in Wlad the second he won the WBA strap.

He may either want step aside money for Valuev - coming out of Haye's part of the purse. Valuev declined $2.5 million for a fight with Vitali so he probably will ask for a similar amount from Haye now, anything else would be illogical.

 

Why should he have waited, when he had the stadium sold out and also got the RING belt by fighting Chagaev?
