He pretty much has the July 11th date set in stone. HBO said they will wait till July 11th - and will not pick up a Chagaev fight on the 20th because they aren't interested. The stadium is open for use on tht 11th, Setanta will pick up the fight on the 11th if they are still around.

 

If Wlad fight Povetkin on 20the of june, the mandatory is out of the way, and Wlad can fight Haye later. Haye had time to revocer from injury.

And than set another date later this year.

 

Chagaev would KTFO Haye! In fact, Haye has less of a chance with Chagaev than he has with Wlad. At least with Wlad he has shown a suspect chin at times, Chagaev to my knowledge has never been off his feet in his career.

Bad move by HBO!

Noone is sure it's gonna be 3 weeks, even Haye isn't. So why Wlad should be?
Champ should even explain why he doesn't want to postpone the fight after Haye failed it in the last moment. He's even not a mandatory.
