I am exactly as disappointed as anyone, since I was waiting on the edge of the seat to see Klitschko smashing Haye, or at least going at someone much more serious than before. Now the ***** talk of his "fans" will continue for a year, or forever, when Haye suddenly retires "from a serious injury" before getting KOed from a 2nd tier heavy.

Let's see cruiser who fought Bonin and Barrett and was dropped my Mormeck, Mock and Thompson, who's best wins are Mormeck and Macca versus heavyweight who has never been down, never lost, and has wins over Virchis, Ruiz, Valuev and Skelton? Hmm, tougher fight, tougher fight, oh I know which one, the career heavy who has a title.

 

So the fight will most likely happen then........
But how can Chagaev pass the hepatitis tests in Germany and fail them in Finland in a few weeks time?

Seriously, as a Haye fan wouldn't you rather he heal up get ready again and maybe fight an eliminator? If he wins he is right back in the picture. This seems like the most logical thing.

I HAVE my ticket. being looking forward to this fight for months. Big Haye fan (also a big Wlad fan) and I still think that this is by far the best possible outcome from a shitty situation.

Back injuries are still a mystery even to modern medicine so there's definitely no guarantee that it wouldn't be aggrevated in training. Chag is a more LEGIT (legit =/= better known) HEAVYWEIGHT contender than Haye.


So as a fight fan I'm not as gutted as I would have been. Even before the fight was made I was of the opinion that Haye needs to make more noise at heavyweight (not just in the media) to get this fight.

So hopefully, Wlad gets through this fight. Haye fights a name heavyweight and it's all systems go for later this year/early next year with the hype 100x what it was for this....

Here's hoping, but lets face it boxing never pans out the way it's supposed to!

 

**** Vagimir Bitschko. He needs to get that ****ing sand out his vagina and set the July 11th date. There's absolutely no reason not to. The stadium is free, tickets can easier be switched to that date, Haye can find a guarentee UK broadcaster by then, HBO will pick it up, and it's the fight TRUE FANS want to see.

I'm not interested in Bitchschko vs Ruslan Bumaev. I don't want to see another slap and hug fest like Sultan Ibragimov. **** Bitchschko. If he's not prepared to wait 3 weeks to save face, then he doesn't deserve our respect.
