Thing is - that was years and injuries ago. He looked jaded against Skelton and **** against Drummond, or whatever his name was.

Well he can’t wait forever to Haye be available.

If/when Haye proves he is as good as I think he is.
He will have another change against top heavyweight.

  5. And sort of man love some of you guys have for Wlad is rather disturbing

Who would be a best opponent for Wlad ? Chagaev is the natural choice.
He's going to take some heavy shots and prove his worth and may be able to deck Wlad with a sneaky left..
Wlad will be ahead on points, Ruslan has short arms and the jab will find it's mark...
this fight should not be underated.
    I think Ruslan gets TKO'd 8-9th round.

Don King made certain that Valuev vs. Chagaev would be in Finland knowing full well that Chagaev would fail the bood test because he has Hepetitis B. King wants Valuev to fight Ruiz instead because he owns half of Valuev & all of Ruiz. Apparently he was afraid that Chagaev would beat Valuev like he did the first time and he didn't want to take the chance.

    Yep.

But weak performance against Drummond was probably mostly because of a ring rust. Skelton fight wasn’t pretty but chagaev won that easily.

Besides even if he is not as good as he was, we still get ring champion to the division.

I gave Haye a 25% chance against Wladimir but I'd give Chagaev a 35-40% chance.

Watch it on stream or download it after the match, like I do almost every U.S match.

Man, Wlad is like a modern day Marvelous Marvin Hagler. If one tough opponent backs out of a fight take on another, possibly more dangerous beast. I couldn't believe all those years ago when Wlad had that bad period, stopped brutally by Sanders, etc. that he would elect to fight the monster-puncher and tough chinned Sam Peter. Everybody thought he was nuts but he wanted to fight the best. Now he elects to fight Ruslan who is Valuev's conqueror and has great amateur credentials. A real tough boxer, puncher. Wlad is old-school; what a warrior.
