Floyd's in his SRL post-Hagler stage. He fought and beat who he needed to way back in the day at his natural weight. Nobody in the history of the sport has met this kind of scrutiny at the same stage of their careers as Floyd has.

the truth is that floyd is a better fighter than anyone at 154 but that doesnt mean he can beat everyone at 154. floyd hit his ceiling at 147 and has yet to clear out that division. if you guys could put your love aside, the way i put my hate aside, you would see this.

 

Floyd beat a 154 champion in Oscar and Cotto but he clearly stated in the past that he is not a 154lb. He couldn't make 154 on fight night. He did it against Oscar for Money and Cotto out of sheer pity.

 

Beating a 50 year old Shane Mosley and Josetito Lopez 2 weight classes above his natural weight earn you a shot at Floyd lol love it

Just the other day Roach was telling me that Floyd should fight Kirkland and Angulo. Good f**king lord. Floyd might as well give me a fight while at it too if he is giving pity fights to people who haven't done much.

 

So Floyd is scared of Canelo, the same guy whose best wins were against a 40 year old Grandpa Mosley who was just there to collect a paycheck, and ****ing Josesito Lopez who was naturally 2 divisions lower than Canelo?

Canelo is pathetic, he's calling Floyd out while ducking every other good Junior Middleweights out there. Canelo wants to fight Floyd because it's a win-win situation for him- if he loses (which will happen 99% of the time) his idiotic mexican fans will just make the excuse that he's too young and inexperienced, even though he's had 40+ fights, and if he wins (will happen 1%), BOOM he's a megastar. For Floyd on the otherhand it's a lose-lose situation. If he wins, people will say he took advantage of a young pup, and if he loses his career is over.

Problem with that is Canelo doesn't even deserve a fight with Floyd. He needs to fight some real competition first, and by that I mean guys his OWN ****ING SIZE. Guys like Trout and Lara would humiliate him, and Oscar Dela Hoya knows this, that's why he's protecting baby ginger from them. When was the last time Canelo fought a legit fighter his own size? Canelo fans please answer that question.

What IS clearly official for me is that Canelo is ducking Austin Trout like he's the black death, period. He was there for the Cotto-Trout fight and watch his face when Trout begins schooling Cotto halfway through the fight. It was like Canelo suddenly aged 20 years, thinking oh **** I might actually have to fight Trout now. But now instead of fighting the WINNER of the Trout vs Cotto fight, Canelo is trying to get the LOSER- Cotto, smh...... because he knows that Cotto is done at this point, and Trout on the otherhand would expose him. And his fans are still defending him. This is just ****ing sad.

Floyd can do whatever the hell he wants because he earned it. If he does fight Canelo he'll beat Canelo after a competitive fight, although I'd much rather see Floyd fight Manny Pacquiao once and for all.
