Sugar Ray Leonard never defended his MW title, even though he beat a top 3 all time middleweight Hagler for it. That belt is meaningless?

Mayweather has every right to make that claim. At age 23(the same age Broner is now), he had wins over Hernandez and Corralles and made 6 title defenses.

    weak??

true, it may not be as talented as 168 but you have kirkland, angulo, trout, canelo, lara, vanes, molina, floyd and bundrage. these may not all be a-level fighters such as smw but the parity among these eight or nine is unprecedented(i do agree that floyd is too small for consistently fighting and defending 154).

can you honestly say with 100 percent certainity who would win a tournament here?

the only bet i would take is that canelo(if floyd did not enter saul would be even money) would not win the tournament.

its anyones guess who would win it.

this is the best 154(re:competitiveness and not skillset) ive seen in over a decade.

:lol:what exactly do you think you found here sherlock? tim was a 140 lb fighter who got beaten quite clearly by pac. cotto gave floyd a much tougher fight, not because i was wrong about cotto, but because you nuthuggers are wrong about floyd.
