Agreed to the split nobody thought he would take?
The split was 50 ****in 50. He was taking on arguably the hottest fighter in the sport. Doesn't matter if he's undefeated, he took on a fighter 2+ divisions below him coming off an 18 month layoff. The 50/50 split was supposed to be a rip? :patsch

Outlandish fine If I remember correctly was in response to the blood testing.

Smaller ring, smaller gloves? Who the **** said anything about a smaller ring? Schaefer checked if Lincoln Financial was open and if they permitted Huffy's on the field, they said no. What the **** does glove size matter to a guy who said "Pacquiao's easy work. Easy money. Absolutely no chance to beat me."

Pacquiao to fight on March 13? If I remember correctly, it's Pacquiao not Floyd who has to fight essentially Miguel Cotto and Floyd Mayweather in a 4 month span, yet that's supposed to be a concession made by Floyd? :patsch

The timeline says the fight was signed. Deal announced. Details followed, THEN Mayweather's team wanted blood testing added to the contract which started this whole mess.

Just some clarification. Fine was in response to Floyd coming over the agreed upon weight with Marquez - not the blood test request.

March 13 was requested by Pac - regardless of whether or not it benefits him, it was his request.

No deals were ever signed. The contract had the 10 mill fine it it from Pacs side and the blood test from Mayweather's. At first Manny agreed, then read closer and realized that olympic style testing allows tests to take place up to right before the fight. Thats when all this started. Nobody had signed the contracts though. If they had, this would have created a breach of contract and the fines would have been huge.

I was in utter shock when they planned the fight in the first place. It really doesn't make any sense for either of them, short of retiring, to take this fight. Both fighters can make as much with a lot less risk in the longer term. I also think that you actually haven't analyzed the fight. I just can't see how Pacman comes out on top. This just isn't a good fight for Pacman. Mayweather won't get much credit for the fight as again he'll be looked at as fighting a "smaller" guy.
