its no secret. pac fights for money now especially that he will be retiring soon. that is why he is looking for the biggest fight out there in hatton, floyd and even margarito. all these talk of pac wanting a bigger share is just "bargaining" to get more purse.

Even after Pac wins, I believe he's going to hang around @ 140 and make two or three successful title defenses then call it quits. Pac is not going to fight at 147, so everybody just get that out of your head.

70/30 to Mayweather with Hatton getting the UK PPV money. Its believed to have ended up a 50/50 split or close as dammit.

Yeah boy, Manny should kick his damn attorney or just tell him to f*ck off about his bout and let Arum do the talking.

OK. You are a Hatton's fan. But what about pac? DId you like him before but not anymore since he's facing Hatton? Just a question. I always wonder how someone would not like Pacquiao.

i think mayweather did by virtue of his 70/30 guaranteed purse split and US PPVs costing 2x more than UK PPVs. hatton got all the UK PPV revenues (1.25M PPV buys) while mayweather got all the revenues for the US PPVs. (850k PPV buys).

    certainly. :good

never for a moment did i imagine that this fight would not push thru because of pac's greed. pac is fair guy. for someone who gives much of his money to charity, "greedy" is not an appropriate word.

imo, the timing is not right. all fans have set in their mind already that the fight will happen. i know that they are just bargaining but if they proposed a bigger split way earlier before the fight was set by arum and hatton's camp "verbally", this should not have been a big issue. i believe pac really has a legitimate leverage in this negotiation if floyd is around and willing to fight him too. but since hatton is only pac's biggest fight now (financially), 50-50 is just about fair.

pac and hatton are pretty much on a par as my favourite fighters. the fact they're facing each other, i'm hoping hatton wins and think he will. but i liked pac now as a fighter and will after the fight win or lose. there's no way i would stop liking a fighter becuase he's facing another one i like, that's stupid.

Hatton is very susceptible to jabs. Pac throws good, crisp jabs. How is Hatton going to avoid Pac's jabs? He wont.

Hatton will eat his jabs and rearrange pacquiao's ribs for him, right where he don't like it
